International Day of Persons with Disabilities

Seminar on Inclusivity and Special Abilities, to mark International Day of Persons with Disabilities, the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences, TUF Amin Campus organized a meaningful seminar on December 04, 2025.

The session began with an insightful presentation by Dr Hina Hidayat Ali on the essential academic and support needs of specially abled students. Ms. Aqsa Parveen and the talented children from Syeda Khatoon-e-Jannat Trust Hospital & Special Education Center (SKJH) captivated the audience with expressive skits and engaging activities arranged by the SKJH team.

Guest speakers Dr Usman Zia and Mr Muhammad Mussadaq highlighted the importance of inclusivity, empowerment, accessibility, and equal participation for special children. The event concluded with encouraging remarks by Dr Marium Zafar (PT). SDGs Highlighted: SDG 4, SDG 5, SDG 10, SDG 16 — focusing on education, equality, reduced inequalities, and strong institutions.
