Henna by Haram, a promising venture under the iShop initiative, was officially inaugurated on March 27, 2025, marking an exciting step in student entrepreneurship at the University of Faisalabad. The ribbon-cutting ceremony was attended by distinguished guests, including Ms. Rabiya, Coordinator of the Dermatology department, Ms. Huda from the Dermatology department, Ms. Syeda Iqra, Assistant CCA Manager, Ms. Mishal, Sports MTO, and Ms. Zainab from the Placement Bureau. Their presence highlighted the significance of the event and the support provided by the university in nurturing student-led projects.
The founder of Henna by Haram, Haram Adil, is a second-semester student from the Dermatology department. The business specializes in Eid gift baskets and henna, combining cultural traditions with creativity. This product range not only offers a personal touch to festive celebrations but also caters to a growing demand for customized, meaningful gifts during the Eid season. Through this venture, Haram Adil is gaining invaluable entrepreneurial experience, which is the core objective of the iShop initiative. The platform provides students with a chance to develop their business ideas, boost their confidence, and gain hands-on experience in the world of entrepreneurship.
