First Awareness Session on “Allied Health Professionals Council”

The University of Faisalabad hosted First Awareness Session on “Allied Health Professionals Council’ in Saleem campus on November 17, 2023. Main purpose of this session was to enlighten students about the purpose and driving mission of Allied Health council.

Prof Dr Syed Amir Gilani welcomed the guests and highlighted the importance of session. Dr Syed Amir emphasized the elevation of all Allied Health professionals’ status in the country as council’s sworn pledge. In his address, Mr Zamurrad commended Founder Chairman of TUF Haji Muhammad Saleem’s vision that drove the institution’s growth and development. Delineating the vision of the Allied Health Council, he stated: “The Allied Health Professionals Council has one mission with regards to the standards of Allied Health Sciences and that is, to advance, elevate, and aggrandize.”

Mr Zamurrad also shared the prospect of a tuition-free university of Allied Health for underprivileged section of the society. Concluding his address, he emphasized the importance of charity, and society’s welfare and well-being as ethos of Madinah Foundation.

Mian Muhammad Hanif (SI) in his address affirmed full assistance to Allied Health Council in achieving its objectives and delivered vote of thanks, underscoring the motto of “Living for the sake of others”.

Following the session, Mr Zamurrad marked his presence at the inauguration ceremony of Physical Therapy labs at the university. He commended the modern facilities, infrastructure improvements, and growth in TUF’s academic quality. He also paid a visit to Madinah Teaching hospital, and appreciated the state-of-the-art medical facilities available there particularly for deserving patients. It was a momentous event, a step forward towards the advancement and promotion of Allied Health Sciences Professions.
