Data Analytic Using Microsoft EXCEL (LEVEL 2)

Data science is a discipline that works on converting data into data products. Data Analytics is at the core to this pace of #data exploitation and Business Intelligence is its strong emergent application in Industrial sector. By realizing this indispensable need of the time, #ORIC TUF and Placement Bureau TUF signed an MoU with Happilac paints Pakistan.

To keep this understanding alive and strong, Prof. Dr. Sohail Jabbar, Dean Faculty of Information Technology, The University of Faisalabad organized a series of workshops titled “Data Analytics Using Microsoft Excel”. This workshop was of 2nd level from the planned workshop series to train the Happilac Paints employees and especially the executives.

The participants were from different departments including HR, Marketing, Accounts Finance and Banking, and Production and Warehouse. Creating drop down list, Sorting and its integration with different functions, Various logical, financial and statistical functions, Creating, formatting and manipulating Tables, Cell and Value formatting, Simple and nested subtotals, Filters and its various options, evaluating complex formulas, playing with numbers in excel, and conditional formatting, Heat Map creation and their application for real scenarios were the main contents covered during this Full Day interactive session. At the end of session, Certificate's and Souvenirs were distributed to the participants and organizing team and the resource person.
