Good Health and Well-being
The University of Faisalabad came alive with colors, traditions, and vibrant expressions as it hosted the grand cultural event “Noor-e-Saqafat” Organized through the collaborative efforts of the Department of Computer Science, the Business School, and TPH at Jinnah Campus, the event served as a dynamic platform to celebrate cultural diversity, foster unity, and promote global understanding. With student-led performances, traditional exhibitions, and a spirit of inclusivity, Noor-e-Saqafat beautifully showcased the rich tapestry of cultures that connect and inspire us all.
Following the opening, students welcomed the distinguished guests through cultural performances representing their respective traditions, dressed in traditional attire and performing region-specific greetings and artistic displays. The cultures showcased included Pakistani, Indian, Afghan, Arabian, Korean, and Italian, each portrayed with authenticity, pride, and enthusiasm. The chief guest, Prof Dr Aman Ullah Malik, Rector, TUF addressed the gathering with an inspiring speech, emphasizing the importance of cultural awareness and preservation in fostering respect, identity, and unity in diversity. He expressed great appreciation for the students’ efforts and their creative presentations.
After the address, the Rector, along with other faculty members, visited the cultural stalls prepared by students, which beautifully displayed traditional clothing, food, artifacts, and historical information about each culture. The stalls were a lively and engaging representation of global diversity. The event concluded with a certificate distribution ceremony, where Mr Umar Kibria, Campus Director, distributed certificates to all participants in recognition of their dedication and performances during the cultural celebration.
