BS Aviation Management Students Visited Faisalabad International Airport for Industry Exposure

In line with The University of Faisalabad’s commitment to bridging the gap between academia and industry, a study tour to Faisalabad International Airport was organized for students of the BS Aviation Management program. This initiative aimed to provide students with real-world knowledge and practical exposure to aviation operations.

The students were warmly welcomed by distinguished professionals from the Civil Aviation Authority, including Madam Tasneem Akhtar, Airport Manager, Mr Salman Shahid, Deputy Director ATS, and Madam Bushra Habib, Deputy Director APS. These aviation experts shared invaluable insights into the history of the airport, its current operational framework, and the promising future of aviation in the region.

As part of the visit, students explored key functional areas of the airport, including international and domestic arrival and departure terminals, security protocols, customs, and immigration procedures. They also had the opportunity to examine the critical infrastructure across both airside and landside areas.
