Board of Studies Meeting Concluded with Approval of MPhil & PhD Supervisory Committees and Research Proposals

The meeting of the Board of Studies (BoS) of the Department of Urdu was convened and attended by Prof Dr Matloob Ahmed, Dean, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences; Prof Dr Riaz Majeed, Head, Department of Urdu; Prof Dr Naila Riaz, Head, Department of English; Prof Dr Zahir Ahmad Zahir, Director, QEC & ORIC; Prof Dr Abdul Wahid, Director Academics; Dr Rubina Yasmin, Associate Professor; Dr Mahmood Raza Syed, Assistant Professor; and Ms Mubashara Faryad, Focal Person, Department of Urdu.

The external members of the Board included Dr Shabbir Ahmed Qadri, Associate Professor, Department of Urdu, Riphah International University Faisalabad, and Dr Mamuna Subhani, Associate Professor, Government College University Faisalabad. After detailed deliberations, the MPhil and PhD Supervisory Committees were approved. The Board also reviewed and approved the research titles and proposals of MPhil and PhD scholars.
