On a sunny day in April, TUFians celebrated their love and adoration for books at the Blue Book Bonanza Day, organized by TUF's International Program & Pearson, to promote reading for pleasure. The event emphasized that every child and young person should have the opportunity to own books.
On this beautiful spring morning, the surroundings of TUF (Amin Campus) were adorned with thoughtful displays and pictographs shows the imagination of readers and book lovers, thanks to the students and professors who added thought-provoking additions and notes.
Students brought their favorite books and spent the day reading. They took the opportunity to share footnotes and much-loved quotes from their favored books and also talked about their favorite writers and famous works, celebrating Blue Book Bonanza Day.
Honorable Ms Zahida Maqbool, Registrar of The University of Faisalabad, elevated the Blue Book Bonanza gathering with her presence. She was warmly received by Mr. Hanan Iftikhar and his team. Her arrival was cheerily celebrated by TUF students and rest of the faculty as well.
Ms Zahida Maqbool emphasized the importance of choosing the right authors and books to read, especially those that evoke a sense of positive thinking. She said, "Books are your biggest allies in life; they help you in decision-making, developing positive habits, and having constructive thoughts.
The day ended with lessons to read more but to read the right books. Not all books are meant to be read, and authors should be selected carefully, especially when you are young and your cognition is still developing.
