BASIC LIFE SUPPORT

TUF Rehabilitation Society under the umbrella of the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences at The University of Faisalabad arranged a “Rescue Training Workshop” on the topic of “Basic Life Support” dated 8th February 2023.

 

 

Students of the 10th Semester Department of Rehabilitation Sciences attended this useful training session. They were instructed worthwhile rescue skills and life-saving techniques, and how to save communities with timely emergency response and care without discrimination. This workshop aimed at Health and Well-Being to build a more sustainable future for all by following UNSDGs 3 of 17.

 

 

The motive of the workshop was to make students learn efficient deployment methods and effective kit preparation in order to be rescue-ready in the event of an emergency. It was helpful for students in the way that they were provided with not only knowledge but also with the skillful rescue training, which will be effective in all ways.

 

 

One Day Rescue Training Workshop on Basic Life Support was an interactive session for the students and proved to be a success as our future physios were well guided about the techniques by our Respected Trainer Dr Farooq Islam; PT.

 

 

The training aimed at providing students with the knowledge of proper techniques to save someone’s life in an emergency situation, to select and maintain the appropriate equipment required for a task, demonstrated the aspects necessary for scene safety, performed and demonstrated the right technique of CPR for people in emergency situations.
