Awareness Campaign Regarding Drug Abuse

The Department of Pharmacy arranged an awareness session regarding Drug Abuse. Mr Laiq ur Rehman, Drug Inspector was the guest speaker of seminar held in Saleem campus on May 2, 2023.

 

 

In his address to the students, Mr Laiq ur Rehman said that drugs can harm our body in a variety of ways. They can damage your brain, heart, and other organs.

 

 

They can also lead to addiction and other serious health problems. ‘keeping the society safe from drug addiction is a shared national responsibility’, he further added.

 

 

While addressing the future generation of Pakistan he emphasized that drug abuse has grown from an essential domestic problem into a national and global threat. He also spoke about the importance of spreading drug abuse awareness among parents. In concluding session, Ms Sana Shehzad, Coordinator Department of Pharmacy presented University memento to the guest speaker.
