Good Health and Well-being
The visit to Riphah International University, Lahore, was organized as an academic exposure activity, providing students with the opportunity to participate in the inter-university Battle of Brains competition. The competition aimed to enhance academic learning, critical thinking, and clinical reasoning among physiotherapy students. Riphah International University Lahore hosted the competition as part of its co-curricular academic enhancement initiatives. Students from 25 universities across Punjab, including The University of Faisalabad, participated in the event. The competition was designed to assess and strengthen knowledge in core areas of physiotherapy education.
A total of six students represented TUF, with three participants from each campus. From TUF Amin Campus (9th Semester):

The students were accompanied by faculty members Dr Muneeb Jafar, PT (Amin Campus) and Dr Moather Iftikhar, PT (Saleem Campus).
The primary objectives of the competition were to enhance students’ theoretical understanding of rehabilitation sciences, improve critical thinking, clinical reasoning, and problem-solving skills, promote teamwork and healthy academic competition, and encourage the application of evidence-based knowledge in clinical scenarios.
The competition comprised multiple rounds, including structured quiz questions, rapid-response sessions, and clinical case-based discussions focusing on Anatomy, Physiology, and Biochemistry.

The activity also supported the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being), SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
