World Poetry Day

In celebration of International World Poetry Day, the Department of English Language and Literature at The University of Faisalabad organized a special event titled "Theatrical Poetry Reading" to honor the contributions of poets from around the world. The event aimed to acknowledge the power of poetry in shaping culture and society, and to encourage a deeper appreciation of the written and spoken word.

The event saw enthusiastic participation from students across the II, IV, and VIII semesters, who brought their chosen poets' works to life through dramatic readings. Each performance was a heartfelt representation of the students’ connection to the poems, engaging the audience with their expressive interpretations. This dynamic presentation highlighted the role of poetry in reflecting and shaping cultural values, further emphasizing the importance of language in societal development.
