The Department of Nutrition and Dietetics in collaboration with the Pak-Korea Nutrition Center (PKNC), successfully conducted a two-day Clinical Dietitians Training Program. The initiative was designed to enhance the clinical expertise and practical competencies of BS DNS and MPDNS students.

Day 1 commenced with an orientation session led by Prof Dr Allah Rakha (Chair, Policy Advocacy & Reach, PKNC) and Mr Moeez Aslam, who outlined the objectives and framework of the training. This was followed by comprehensive technical sessions on “Cognitive & Physical Growth Milestones for Children” and “Macro & Micronutrient Needs and Common Deficiencies in Clinical Settings,” equipping students with in-depth knowledge of pediatric nutrition and clinical assessment.
Day 2 featured advanced sessions focused on applied clinical nutrition practices, dietary assessment methodologies, and evidence-based management strategies. Through interactive discussions and practical exercises, students refined their clinical decision-making abilities and strengthened their professional confidence.
