TUF Leads the Way in Advancing Education through HEC ODL Policy and AI Integration

The University of Faisalabad hosted a comprehensive orientation session aimed at illuminating the future of education. The session, held at The University of Faisalabad Saleem campus, brought together key stakeholders and distinguished participants from the esteemed educational institutions including GC Women University Faisalabad (GCWUF) and FAST-National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences (FAST-NU) to delve into the transformative potential of technology in learning, teaching, and assessment.

Led by Mr Tanveer Ahmed, Consultant/Specialist at HEDP, Dr Hamza Amin, Vice Chairman of the Board of Governors at TUF, Mr Hassan Rasheed, Member of the Board of Governors, and Ms Zahida Maqbool, Registrar, alongside representatives from GCWUF, FAST-NU, and TUF, the session showcased a collective commitment to revolutionizing educational paradigms.

A holistic approach to education was emphasized, with discussions revolving around the significance of robust library and digital resources, Open Educational Resources (OERs), and comprehensive student support services in nurturing a conducive learning environment. Dr Hamza Amin, expressed his optimism regarding the integration of technology in education, affirming the University of Faisalabad's commitment to fostering innovation and excellence in academic pursuits.

Mr Hassan Rasheed commended the collaborative efforts of all participating institutions in spearheading initiatives aimed at enhancing educational accessibility and quality. Ms Zahida Maqbool, extended her gratitude to all attendees and reiterated the institution's unwavering dedication to embracing technological advancements for the betterment of education. Later, Mr Tanveer Ahmed also planted a sapling in the university lawn as a part of TUF Go Green campaign.
