Faculty members of the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences participated in an insightful training session titled "Enhancing Faculty Skills in Outcome-Based Education (OBE)", conducted under the guidance of Dr Muhammad Arshad Shehzad Hassan, Head, Department of Electrical Engineering. The session provided a comprehensive exploration of the philosophy and framework of OBE, offering faculty members practical knowledge and tools to shift from traditional teaching approaches to student-centered learning.
Key focus areas included the formulation of Program Educational Objectives (PEOs), Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs), and Course Learning Outcomes (CLOs), as well as Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) strategies. Additionally, participants were introduced to modern tools for measuring learning outcomes and developing effective rubrics, reinforcing the importance of aligning curriculum with graduate attributes and stakeholder expectations. The interactive workshop fostered a critical dialogue on improving academic delivery and assessment, ultimately enhancing the overall educational experience for students.
