A highly engaging and insightful seminar on the topic “Application of Nanoparticles in Combating Antimicrobial Resistance” was successfully organized, featuring Dr Nayab Batool, Assistant Professor at the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad (Institute of Microbiology), as the distinguished guest speaker. With her specialization in Molecular Microbiology and Nanomedicine, and international research experience as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Sungkyunkwan University, South Korea, she brought a strong global perspective and valuable expertise to the session.
The seminar focused on the rapidly evolving role of nanotechnology in tackling antimicrobial resistance, one of the most pressing global health challenges. Dr Nayab highlighted innovative nanoparticle-based strategies, current research advancements, and future directions in combating resistant microbial strains.
