Seminar on Ethical Writing & Citation Skills by TUF International & Pearson

Department of International Linkages & Pearson conducted a seminar focusing on "Own Your Words: The Art of Citing & Crafting Original Work". Ms Zamah Bukhari was the resource person who provided insights on the topic, emphasizing the importance of ethical writing practices, correct citation techniques, and the avoidance of plagiarism. She also touched upon the significance of developing a person’s writing style that respects original sources while contributing new perspectives.

The seminar focused on discussing the consequences of plagiarism in academic and professional settings. Strategies for avoiding unintentional plagiarism and tips for maintaining academic integrity in research papers, essays, and reports were also discussed. The discussion also covered techniques for paraphrasing and summarizing while crediting sources appropriately.
