ORIC conducted Training on Advanced Teaching & Learning Methods Under OBE Education

The Office of Research, Innovation, and Commercialization (ORIC), organized a highly successful training session on Advanced Teaching & Learning Methods Under Outcome-Based Education (OBE) for TUF faculty and students. This insightful session was led by Dr Aashir Waleed, Assistant Professor, Department of Electrical Engineering, UET, Faisalabad. Dr Aashir Waleed guided participants through the innovative concepts of open-ended labs, problem-based learning, and other OBE-aligned strategies that focus on fostering critical thinking, creativity, and practical problem-solving skills.

Dr Waleed emphasized how these modern techniques could not only improve learning outcomes but also inspire students to engage in more interactive and dynamic educational experiences. This training is part of TUF’s ongoing commitment to upgrading teaching practices in line with modern educational trends, particularly the Outcome-Based Education model, which ensures that the learning outcomes are clearly defined and achieved through innovative and engaging methods.
