Quality Education
As Generative AI (GenAI) continues to redefine the global academic landscape, the National Business School, in strategic collaboration with the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, conducted a high-profile 2-day international workshop titled “Ethics and AI for Improving Quality Education in HEIs”.
The workshop's highlight was an illuminating keynote address by Dr Sarah Holz, a distinguished academic from the Institute of Asian and African Studies at Humboldt University of Berlin, Germany. Drawing on her extensive international research, Dr Holz explored the transformative power of GenAI, focusing on:

Day 2: Interactive Panels and Global Engagement
Building on the momentum of the opening sessions, the second day featured a highly interactive panel discussion. Moderated by Mr Sharjeel Yousaf (Lecturer, National Business School), the session transformed into a vibrant hub of intellectual exchange.
A large contingent of students and faculty members engaged in a dynamic Q&A session, critically analyzing the dual nature of AI—exploring its limitless opportunities for curriculum design alongside the inherent risks to institutional policy. The inclusion of an international audience via online attendance added a vital global dimension, proving that the challenges of AI ethics transcend borders.

NBS Vision for the Future
The event concluded with a formal note of gratitude from Prof Dr Ashfaq Ahmed, who acknowledged the collective efforts of the organizers and participants.
By bridging the gap between international expertise and local academic ambition, these two days have significantly strengthened academic collaborations and provided faculty and students with the "ethical literacy" necessary to lead in an AI-driven world. As the university bids a fond farewell to Dr Sarah Holz, it looks forward to a future defined by meaningful, technology-enhanced academic partnerships.
