International Seminar on “Advances in Obstetrics and Gynecological Ultrasound”

One Day International Seminar on "Advances in Obstetrics and Gynecological Ultrasound" organized with the collective efforts of Dr Khadija tul Sughra, Head, Department of Radiography & Imaging Sciences and Prof Dr Tahira Iqbal, Dean Faculty of Medicine & Allied Health Sciences brought together delegates from across the globe on 21st November. Keynote international speakers Prof Dr Taib Delic, Director of the Ian Donald School, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Prof Dr Mikhailov, Director, St. Petersburg Maternity Hospital, Russia, Prof Dr Cuthbert Mulenga, Head Department of Radiological Sciences, Lusaka Apex Medical University, Zambia shared groundbreaking advancements in obstetrics and gynecology.

Prof Dr Taib Delic shared cutting-edge techniques in prenatal ultrasound imaging, emphasizing its critical role in the early detection of fetal anomalies and improved maternal outcomes. Prof Dr Mikhailov highlighted innovative ultrasound practices in gynecological care, particularly their impact on enhancing patient diagnosis and management. Prof Dr Cuthbert Mulenga discussed the integration of advanced ultrasound technologies in resource-constrained settings, showcasing strategies to improve accessibility and effectiveness. The seminar served as a platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration, addressing key challenges in obstetrics and gynecology. Participants gained insights into novel imaging modalities, diagnostic accuracy, and patient-centered care. As part of the TUF GO GREEN Initiative, the guests planted saplings in the campus to symbolize growth and sustainability.
