Hult Prize Grand Finale Crowns its Innovators: Shaping the Next Generation of Social Entrepreneurs

The future of social entrepreneurship took center stage at TUF, as the National Business School hosted the culminating round of the Hult Prize. Far from a traditional academic exercise, the Grand Finale featured 30 outstanding student-led teams presenting innovative and disruptive solutions aimed at addressing some of the world’s most pressing challenges, marking a significant advancement in the university’s culture of innovation and entrepreneurship.

A Jury of Industry Titans

The event's prestige was underscored by a high-profile evaluation panel, blending corporate strategy with academic rigor. These leaders provided more than just scores—they offered the "battle-tested" feedback necessary for these startups to survive in a global market:

  • Sohail Khattak (CEO, Lyallpur Galleria) – Retail & Market Strategy
  • Mamoona Imran (VP, Faisalabad Women Chamber of Commerce) – Economic Empowerment
  • Rafi Shamas (Senior Director, Kamal Mills) – Industrial Scalability
  • Dr Yawar Abbas & Dr Kashif Hamid (UAF) – Research & Technical Feasibility

The leadership of TUF, including Mr Muhammad Haider Amin, Chairman BOG, Prof Dr Aman Ullah Malik, Rector, and Dr Zahida Maqbool, Registrar, personally toured the exhibition. Their presence served as a powerful endorsement of the students’ "entrepreneurial grit" and the university's mission to produce socially conscious job creators.

The Winners’ Circle: Innovation Across Disciplines

The diversity of the winning projects highlights how TUF is successfully breaking down departmental silos to foster multifaceted innovation:
