Financial Literacy Workshop in Collaboration with State Bank of Pakistan

The Placement Bureau in collaboration with the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), Faisalabad, organized a dynamic workshop on Pakistan Financial Literacy as part of a nationwide awareness initiative. The event aimed to educate students on the importance of sound financial practices and foster a culture of financial independence.

During the engaging and interactive session, officials from SBP delivered insightful presentations covering core financial concepts such as saving, budgeting, and the efficient use of banking services. The session emphasized how these practices can contribute to long-term financial stability and informed decision-making, particularly important for students preparing to step into professional careers.

The workshop was tailored to empower students, especially those pursuing careers in healthcare, with practical knowledge to manage their finances responsibly, aligning with SBP’s mission to promote financial inclusion and economic literacy across all segments of society.

The University of Faisalabad extends heartfelt thanks to the State Bank of Pakistan, Faisalabad, for their invaluable contribution in equipping our students with essential life skills that will serve them well beyond the classroom.

This initiative supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), by promoting lifelong learning and equipping youth with knowledge to achieve economic empowerment.
