The Dramatic Society held an event that commenced with an inauguration ceremony organized and hosted by the President of the Dramatic Society, Nisar Fatima and it included a brief introduction about the significance of Kashmir Day. Dignitaries, faculty members, and students gathered to show support for the cause. One of the main attractions of the event was the Poster Painting Competition. Students from various departments enthusiastically participated, showcasing their creativity and artistic skills. The theme revolved around depicting the beauty of Kashmir, its culture, and the plea for peace and justice. The paintings were judged based on creativity, relevance to the theme, and overall artistic expression.
The winners were awarded certificates by respected faculty Dr Ammara Affi and Dr Humaima. In addition, the coordinators of each department and participant students were also invited so fostering a sense of accomplishment among the participants. To add a touch of diversity to the event, cultural performances such as traditional Kashmiri dresses and a parade around the campus were organized.
These events highlighted the rich cultural heritage of Kashmir, emphasizing the need to preserve and celebrate it.
