The seminar aimed to highlight the importance of ethical values in personal, academic, and professional life, drawing perspectives from religion, psychology, and society in Saleem Campus. The event was graced by Prof Dr Aman Ullah Malik, Rector TUF as the Chief Guest. In his address, he emphasized the urgent need to reinforce ethical conduct among youth and professionals, especially in today’s rapidly changing societal landscape.
Prof Dr Matloob Ahmed, Dean of Arts and Social Sciences, TUF eloquently discussed the strong relationship between Islam and moral values, emphasizing how the teachings of Islam provide a complete code of ethics that can guide individuals towards a just and meaningful life.
Guest Speaker Dr Rukhsana Baloch, Dean Faculty of Language and Humanities at GC Women University, Faisalabad shared valuable insights on the role of language, literature, and education in nurturing ethical behavior.
Keynote speaker, Dr Nabeela Rasheed, Clinical Psychologist, TUF addressed the psychological aspects of ethical values, shedding light on how ethical decision-making impacts mental well-being and interpersonal relationships. The seminar was well-attended by faculty members, scholars, and students, all of whom appreciated the multi-disciplinary perspectives shared during the session. Seminar concluded with a Q&A session, encouraging dialogue and further reflection on the role of ethics in daily affairs.
Later, Students also organized an awareness walk to promote ethical values among youth and the wider community, actively participated by faculty members and staff. The walk, held on campus and surrounding areas, aimed to highlight the importance of integrity, respect, responsibility, and empathy in both academic and everyday life. Participants carried banners and chanted slogans emphasizing moral conduct and social harmony.
