But in my success story continuous was missing because I pursuit education after a long gap of 12 years. In this journey of hope and fear, strength and weakness, TUF provides excellent opportunities for my growth and boosted my confidence. Various opportunities have been provided through class presentation and conferences to excel in the field. Here, I founded the part of me that was missing from years while collecting memories with my mentors and friends. Currently, I am honored to work at Javed Eye Center, Faisalabad, where I contribute to relieving people’s suffering and enhancing their vision. This journey has been a testament to the blessings of Allah, the unwavering support of my parents, my dedicated efforts, and the invaluable guidance of my university, Optometry department, and esteemed teachers. My time at The University of Faisalabad (TUF) provided me with the knowledge and skills to excel in my field. The interactive teaching methods, real-world applications, and continuous support helped me grow both academically and professionally. Maryam Jabbar, a student pursuing MPhil Optometry (Batch 2021-23) , was honored with a bronze medal. She expressed her gratitude by dedicating the medal to her father and mother, emphasizing her father's unwavering dedication and motivation as the driving force behind her success. Maryam acknowledged that without her father's support, achieving the medal would not have been possible. She sincerely dedicated the medal to her parents, highlighting her father's role as an inspiration and a crucial pillar of support. Maryam shared that her mother's words, encouraging her to do her level best and maintain a firm faith in Allah Al-Raheem, served as her motivation throughout her academic journey. I got the opportunity to complete my M.Phil Optometry degree from The University of Faisalabad.

During the two years journey at The University of Faisalabad, I have learned many new skills. The teaching faculty at The University of Faisalabad is quiet knowledgeable and has helped develop my identity as a competent Optometrist, and that is something I will always be thankful for. It is a matter of great honor for me to serve as a Senior Lecturer at the Pakistan Institute of Ophthalmology, Al-Shifa Trust Eye Hospital, Rawalpindi. I am also providing services as an active reviewer for Journal of Clinical and Community Ophthalmology.

Your work is going to fill a large part of your life and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. Being an optometrist offers the most complete and constant union of those three qualities which have the greatest charm of pure and active minds - novelty, utility and charity. Wear the white coat with dignity and pride- it is an honor and privilege to get to serve the public as an optometrist.

I believe in the saying that allow your passion to become your purpose and it will one day become your profession.My profession is my passion.Now I am working with an opthalmologist doing refraction and handling OPD as well in my hometown.I am learning new things everyday.According to me it is the best profession to persuade .

I'm currently enrolled at The University of Faisalabad to pursue my Master of Philosophy in Optometry.The University of Faisalabad offer me a platform where I choose my professional path and grow in my career. Being a part of this esteemed institute is a huge honour for me. The University of Faisalabad provide me an amazing learning experience through interactive teaching focused on intellectual developement, with a heavy emphasis on practical education and exposure to real-world situations to maximize my clinical competence. In addition to enlightening me with knowledge, The University of Faisalabad also sparkled the compassionate side of me, that is why currently I am working independently in a Hospital.I consider myself to be extremely fortune to be in a profession that enables me to serve the community in an honourable manner. Put yourself in the best place for the next moment. My entire schooling was in my local city. My interest was purely towards medical . So I opted for Doctor of Optometry offered by The university of Faisalabad. This institute played crucial part in declining my extreme interest towards this field. I was actually looking out for upskilling while I came across different platforms in this space.

I'm a proud Alumni of The University of Faisalabad. I have been paramount in all my clinical doings just because of the competency my faculty have imparted to grow us in field. Being part of this educational institute in itself is a prestige and moreover being a student is supermassive achievement. What I concluded in my whole five years journey is, this institute encouraged graduates to go on to live lives of unimpeachable rectitude and integrity.
