Dr Sana Shahzad, a recognizable Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacy at The University of Faisalabad with 15 years of teaching experience, is dedicated to excellence in pharmaceutical education, research, and innovation. Her mission is to prepare future pharmacists with the knowledge, skills, and ethical foundation required to excel in the evolving field of pharmacy.
Her research expertise focuses on cutaneous and burn wound healing, particularly the development of hydrogel films and polymer-based drug delivery systems for enhanced wound management. She has dedicatedly supervised 7 MPhil students, guiding research in pharmaceutical formulation development, wound healing, and drug delivery innovations.
Beyond teaching and research, she actively contributes to academic and student development initiatives, serving on various committees, including the Board of Studies (BoS) and Focal person of the Drug and Tobacco Awareness Society at TUF. At the department, she emphasizes cutting-edge research, hands-on training, and interdisciplinary collaboration to prepare students for impactful careers in clinical, industrial, and academic pharmacy. She invite students, researchers, and professionals to engage with our programs and contribute to the advancement of pharmaceutical sciences.
