Prof Dr Matloob Ahmad holds a PhD in Islamic Studies (Islamic Jurisprudence) from the National University of Modern Languages, Islamabad, along with degrees in Law LLB, and M.A Islamic Studies,Arabic from the University of the Punjab, Lahore.He got the degree of LLM from University of Lahore. With an extensive academic and research career spanning over 38 years, he has served in various prestigious institutions, including Goverment Posgraduate College Sheikhupura,The University of Faisalabad and Government College University, Faisalabad.
He served as a Member of the Federal Curriculum Committee, Curruculum Wing Government of Pakistan (2003–2006), where he played a vital role in developing the National syllabus for Islamic Studies and Arabic up to the intermediate level. Since 2020, he has been serving as the Convener of the Ethical Institutional Review Board (EIRB) at The University of Faisalabad.
Dr Matloob has authored and co-authored seven books and published over 200 research papers in Scopus-indexed and HEC-recognized journals. He has presented research papers at National and International conferences and served as a session chair and keynote speaker.
He has supervised and produced above 20 PhD ,75 MPhil and many M.A Islamic Studies Scholars. He is contributing in Research Journal as the Chief Editor and builder of Al-Amin Research Journal of Islamic Sciences (TUF) and as a member of the Advisory and Editorial boards of several National and International journals.He is performing his duties in many International Research Journals as Reviewer. His scholarly expertise encompasses Islamic law, Quranic studies, Hadith, Fiqh, Islamic thought, Seerah Studies and Ethics.He has done all Dars e Nizami courses from Board of Tanzeem ul Maddaris Ahl e Sunnat Pakistan.He has his Takhassus Fil Fiqh from Wefaq ul Maddaris Islamia Rizvia Pakistan.
