Dr Ammara Rehman is an accomplished academic serving as Assistant Professor in the Department of Islamic Studies at TUF, where she has been contributing to teaching and research since 2016, progressing from Lecturer to her current role. She holds a PhD in Islamic Studies. Her academic expertise encompasses Seerah studies, Tasawwuf (Islamic mysticism), and contemporary Islamic thought, and she teaches a range of specialized courses including Seerat-un-Nabi (SAW), trends in Seerah writing, and advanced research methodology in Islamic studies. Dr Ammara has developed a strong research portfolio with multiple publications in HEC-recognized and peer-reviewed journals, addressing diverse themes such as Islamic social reform, modernist discourse, gender issues, and ethical challenges in contemporary Muslim societies. Her scholarly contributions reflect a consistent engagement with both classical Islamic scholarship and modern intellectual debates, with research articles published in reputable academic journals including Journal of Positive School Psychology, PalArch’s Journal of Archaeology of Egypt/Egyptology, and other recognized platforms.
