World Pharmacists Day

The Department of Pharmacy at the University of Faisalabad proudly celebrated World Pharmacists Day with great enthusiasm and dedication. The event commenced with a beautiful recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by a Naat-e-Rasool (S.A.W), setting a reverent tone for the occasion.

A specially prepared documentary was showcased, highlighting a tour of the department and featuring heartfelt messages and dedications from both students and faculty members, emphasizing their commitment to the pharmacy profession.

Our talented students performed a compelling skit portraying the vital role of pharmacists in society, their importance in healthcare, and the collaborative relationships they maintain with doctors. Additionally, a thoughtful poem prepared by the students added a reflective and inspiring touch to the event.

We were honored to welcome our esteemed chief guest, Dr. Asifa Abid, Drug Controller at Allied Hospital II, Faisalabad, who shared insights about her pivotal role in the hospital and her inspiring journey within the pharmacy field.

The event was graced by the presence of Dr. Sadia Raffique, Head of Department, along with Dr. Sana Shahzad, Coordinator; Assistant Professor Dr. Nyla Ajaz; Assistant Professor Dr. Sana Javed and other esteemed faculty members who actively participated in the celebration. The event concluded on a joyful note with a cake-cutting ceremony, symbolizing unity and dedication to the noble profession of pharmacy.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed to making this day memorable and meaningful.
