The Department of Design and Interiors at The University of Faisalabad successfully conducted a Model Making Workshop on May 26, 2025, engaging students from the 2nd to 8th semesters. The workshop challenged participants to design and construct 1×1-foot architectural models based on seven diverse themes. Through this hands-on exercise, students developed essential skills in research, material selection, and design interpretation, translating complex concepts into tangible 3D prototypes. The activity strengthened their understanding of scale, form, and spatial relationships while fostering creative problem-solving. Overall, the workshop significantly enhanced students’ technical competencies and appreciation for the physical realization of architectural ideas.
