Webinar on the Moral Teachings and Legacy of Imam Zain ul Abideen (AS)

The Department of Islamic Studies, in collaboration with the Islamic Philosophical Society, organized an enlightening webinar focused on the profound and timeless moral teachings (Makārim al-Akhlāq) of Imam Zain ul Abideen (علیہ السلام). The event was held virtually and attended by students, faculty members, and guests who came together to reflect upon the noble legacy of the fourth Imam. Dr Rukhsana Baloch, Dean, Faculty of Languages and Humanities, Govt College for Women University Faisalabad, graced the session as the Chief Guest.

In her speech, she highlighted the exceptional character, patience (tahammul), forbearance, and deep devotion during the performing of the Prayer of Imam Zain ul Abideen (AS). Ms Safia Jaffer, Lecturer at the Department of Islamic Studies, The University of Faisalabad, delivered an insightful and scholarly talk. She presented a deep and analytical perspective on the Akhlaq (moral virtues) of Imam Zain ul Abideen using authentic Hadiths and historical narrations.

Prof. Dr. Matloob Ahmad, Dean, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, gave a detailed and captivating address on the Seerah (biography) of Imam Zain ul Abideen (AS). The literary aspect of the session was enhanced by a moving poetry recitation by renowned poet Kausar Ali Kausar, whose verses paid tribute to the sublime character and spiritual stature of Imam Zain ul Abideen.
