TUF Department of Nutrition & Dietetics hosted a 2-Day Training in Collaboration with Pak-Korea Nutrition Center

Department of Nutrition and Dietetics, The University of Faisalabad organized a 2-day General Training of Clinical Dietitians Under Pak-Korea Nutrition Center, University of Agriculture Faisalabad, in Collaboration with The University of Faisalabad. The sessions began with an insightful orientation, which was effectively conducted by Dr Allah Rakha and set the tone for the day. The program was skillfully led by Ms Mehreen Abbas, who delivered a comprehensive module on In-Patient Screening Tools and Malnutrition Care, followed by an engaging session on Out-Patient Assessment Protocols by Ms Benash Sarwar. Together, these modules equipped participants with essential tools and strategies for advancing clinical nutrition practice.

The 2nd day of the training program was conducted to empower clinical dietitians with a session on "Macro & Micronutrient Needs for Children and Common Micronutrient Deficiencies in Clinical Settings" delivered by Mr Ghayyur Sultan, Master Trainer, focusing on addressing pediatric nutritional deficiencies. The day concluded with a practical session on Out-Patient Assessment Tools, expertly conducted by Ms Benash Sarwar, equipping participants with hands-on techniques for effective outpatient care.
