TUF Advances Legal-Academic Partnerships for Prison Reform

Prof Dr Sami Ur Rahman, Dean, Faculty of Law at TUF, held a constructive and forward-looking meeting with SSP Prisons Mr Sajid Baig to explore collaborative opportunities between academia and the prison administration. Key outcomes of the meeting included proposed initiatives such as:

  • Collaborative legal research on prison systems and inmates’ rights
  • Structured prison visits for TUF law students to enhance practical learning
