TUF Departments of Islamic Studies and Urdu in Collaboration with Islamic Philosophic Society and Zoq-e-Adab solemnly hosted a Muharram-ul-Haram Mushaira, Munaqib Ahl-e-Bait honoring the message of Karbala through the powerful words of renowned poets. An inspiring Mushaira on the theme ‘Munaqib-e-Ahl-e-Bait’ brought together renowned poets from across Faisalabad’s leading institutions.
The Chief Guest Dr Farhat Abbas and Guest Speaker Naseem-e-Sehar graced the Mushaira with their moving poetry and insightful discussion on the importance and values of Ahl-e-Bait adding depth and spiritual warmth to the day. Emphasizing the importance of Urdu adab, Islamic values and literary enrichment Dr. Majeed encouraged holding more such gatherings to nurture students' character and cultural awareness. This meaningful exchange between established and emerging literary voices beautifully highlighted poetry's enduring power to connect generations through shared love of language and culture.
The enchanting Day of Mushaira concluded with profound reflections by Dr Matloob Ahmad, Dean, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, TUF, who highlighted the timeless values of poets, rich traditions, and the deep love for Ahl-e-Bait. The event not only celebrated the beauty of Urdu adab but also reinforced the values of unity, respect, and literary appreciation—a fitting end to a memorable gathering.
