As part of its ongoing efforts to promote spiritual and academic enrichment, the Department of Islamic Studies, in collaboration with the Religious Society, has organized a seminar on the life and teachings of Hazrat Imam Zain-ul-Abideen (R.A.).

Ms. Safia Jaffar, Lecturer and PhD Scholar, served as the guest speaker. Her address focused on the remarkable legacy of Hazrat Imam Zain-ul-Abideen (R.A.), emphasizing his spiritual devotion, unwavering patience, and contributions to Islamic thought.

Highlights from Ms. Safia Jaffar’s Address: “Today, we reflect on the inspiring life of Hazrat Imam Zain-ul-Abideen (R.A.), the son of Imam Hussain (R.A.) and grandson of Imam Ali (R.A.). As the fourth Imam, he is remembered for his deep piety, moral strength, and enduring faith following the tragedy of Karbala. Despite the pain of captivity, he remained a symbol of resilience and spiritual leadership. His legacy, preserved through profound works such as Sahifa Sajjadiya, continues to offer guidance on humility, justice, and unwavering devotion to Allah (SWT).”

The program concluded with the recitation of Salaam and a heartfelt Dua, praying for the success, well-being, and spiritual growth of all attendees, and seeking inspiration from the life of Hazrat Imam Zain-ul-Abideen (R.A.).
