The Entrepreneurship Society at the University of Faisalabad successfully launched its seminar series with the first session held on Monday, March 9, 2026. The event, themed “Islamic Principles in Business and Trade,” aimed to educate students about ethical and Shariah-compliant practices in business.
The seminar began with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Ms. Hira Khalid, followed by Durood Sharif and a Naat presented by Dure Sharaf. The session was conducted by Ms. Bakhtawar Farooq, who served as the mic host and guided the flow of the program.
The guest speaker, Abdul Basit, Regional Shariah Coordinator at Meezan Bank, delivered an insightful talk on the importance of following Islamic principles in business and trade. He highlighted key concepts such as ethical dealings, fairness in transactions, and the role of Shariah-compliant practices in modern business environments.
The seminar concluded with closing remarks and a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Sohail Mansha, Assistant Professor NBS, who appreciated the guest speaker and acknowledged the efforts of the organizing team. The session ended on a positive note, marking a successful start to the Entrepreneurship Society’s seminar series.
