Seminar on Hazrat Ali Karram-Allah-Wajhahu- His Da’wah Methodology and Practical Aspects

Department of Islamic Studies organized a seminar on “Hazrat Ali Karram-Allah-Wajhahu- His Da’wah Methodology and Practical Aspects” on January 17, 2025. Prof Dr Matloob Ahmad, Dean Faculty of Arts and social sciences in his address told that Hazrat Ali Karram-Allah-Wajhahu was born in the Kaaba in Makkah, making his birth a unique event in Islamic history. He grew up in the household of the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) and became one of the earliest converts to Islam.

His contributions to Islam were numerous: he was a warrior, a scholar, a jurist and a leader. He participated in numerous battles, most notably in Badr, Uhud, and Khaybar. Guest speaker, Prof Muhammad Jafar Ali Qamar Sialvi delivered a comprehensive talk on the topic. ‘Hazrat Ali’s Da’wah methodology was a balanced combination of wisdom, patience, intellectual engagement, personal example, and inclusive outreach’, Prof Jafar said. He said that Hazrat Ali’s practical approach to governance, mentorship, and community building had a lasting impact on the Muslim world. The event culminated with Drood o Salam and Dua.
