Seminar “Birth Anniversary of Hazrat Ali Karram Allah Wajhahu”

Hazrat Ali (Karram Allah Wajhahu) possessed comprehensiveness of character, chastity and piety, so essential to promote the Divine mission of beloved Holy Prophet (S.A.W). He was an embodiment of the noblest human characteristics combined with Divine gifts and a perfect model of upbringing and tutorship of the Holy Prophet (S.A.W). A seminar to commemorate the Birth Anniversary of Hazrat Ali Karram Allah Wajhahu was organized by TUF Religious Society and Department of Arabic & Islamic Studies in Ali Auditorium on 25 th January 2024. Renowned Islamic Scholar Dr Sumera Naqvi was the guest speaker.

After recitation of Holy Quraan and Naat-e-Rasool Maqbool (SAW), Ms Ayesha Batool and students offered Manaqib of Hazrat Ali (Karram Allah Wajhahu) and Manaqib-e-Ehl-e-Bait Athaar (Alaehimus- Salam). Dr Sumera in her address paid glowing tribute to the great companion of Holy Prophet (SAW) saying that there was no other personality that could be compared with Hazrat Ali (Karram Allah Wajhahu) in knowledge, wisdom and bravery. “Among countless virtues Hazrat Ali (Karram Allah Wajhahu) possessed, he had a deep knowledge and insight of religious, moral, social and political matters. His personality stands out unmatched in his understanding of the Holy Quran and the true significance of the concept and practice of Islam” she expressed. Dr Sumera stressed the need to follow the teachings of Hazrat Ali (Karram Allah Wajhahu) in true letter and spirit. The event culminated with Drood-o-Salam and prayer.
