Punjab Culture Day 2025 at TUF: A Colorful Celebration of Heritage, Art, and Punjabi Spirit

The University of Faisalabad was immersed in the rich cultural tapestry of Punjab as it celebrated Punjab Culture Day 2025 with unmatched enthusiasm and Punjabi swag. From traditional attire and folk music to captivating art and dynamic cultural performances, the campus radiated with the unstoppable energy of Punjab’s vibrant heritage.

Students danced to the beats of dhol, embraced the charm of traditional rituals, and proudly displayed the timeless essence of Punjabi identity. The event beautifully captured the dynamic fusion of age-old traditions with modern-day expressions — a celebration where every ritual told a story and every moment burst with color, joy, and unity.

Adding an artistic highlight to the festivities, the TUF Art & Culture Society organized a themed painting competition titled “Feminine Spirit of Punjab,” honoring the strength, pride, and grace of Punjabi women. Nineteen talented students from the Department of Design & Interior participated, using their creative expressions to reflect the soul of Punjab through powerful visuals. The winners of the painting competition were:

  • 1st Position: Ms. Aliza
  • 2nd Position: Ms. Mahnoor Naeem
  • 3rd Position: Ms. Mahrukh Khadim

The competition was judged by esteemed guests Prof Dr Riaz Majeed, Head Department of Urdu, TUF, and Prof Muhammad Nasar Bhatti, Director QEC & Chairman, Humanities and Social Sciences, National Textile University, Faisalabad, who appreciated the students’ creativity and cultural sensitivity.

Punjab Culture Day 2025 at TUF was not just an event — it was a heartfelt tribute to the spirit of Punjab, bringing together tradition, youth, and artistic expression under one cultural banner. This celebration aligns with SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities) by nurturing cultural pride.
