PEC Re-Accreditation Visit for BS Civil Engineering at TUF

Pakistan Engineering Council conducted a Re-Accreditation Visit at TUF for the BS Civil Engineering (Fall 2020) batch. Facilitated by the Civil Engineering Department, the visit aimed to evaluate the program’s compliance with PEC’s accreditation standards and ensure adherence to Outcome-Based Education (OBE) principles.

The PEC evaluation team, which included Dr Ammad Hassan Khan, Chairman Department of Transportation Engineering, UET Lahore, and Engr. Shahab Khattak, PEC Representative, rigorously assessed various aspects of the program. Their review encompassed:

  • Academic curriculum and faculty qualifications
  • Laboratory facilities and research contributions
  • Student learning outcomes and final-year projects
  • Industry linkages and practical exposure opportunities
  • Implementation of Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) within the OBE framework

During their visit, the PEC representatives engaged in discussions with faculty members and students, ensuring that the program aligns with modern engineering education standards. A thorough inspection of classrooms, laboratories, and infrastructure confirmed compliance with PEC’s requirements.
