Othello Mesmerized Audiences with a Riveting Performance

The Department of English Language & Literature organized a captivating theatrical adaptation of William Shakespeare’s tragic play Othello. As Othello is part of the academic syllabus, this event was designed to complement the curriculum by providing students with a deeper understanding of the text through a visual and immersive experience. The performance was attended by the esteemed faculty of the English Department and students, who actively participated both as performers in the play and as members of the audience. The event commenced with the introduction of the play and its characters followed by a welcome address by the host Nazra tun Naeem, a student of the Department of English Language & Literature.
