Optometry Students Conducted Study Tour to Naseer Soap Factory

The Department of Optometry conducted a study tour for the students of BS Optometry, 3rd and 5th semesters. The tour provided our Optometry students with a valuable opportunity to gain real-world experience in the field. They visited the Naseer Soap Factory in Faisalabad, where they conducted eye examinations on the factory workers.

During the visit, the students used their pen torches to examine the workers' eyes and assess their visual acuity. They performed essential optometric tests to identify common visual impairments and other eye diseases, helping to ensure the workers' eye health.

This hands-on activity allowed the students to apply their theoretical knowledge in a practical setting while also emphasizing the importance of eye care in industrial environments.
