Peace and Justice Strong Institutions
The Department of Islamic Studies organized a Mehfil-e-Milad (SAW) in the context of Shab-e-Baraat. The program was marked by heartfelt recitations of Naat and Drood o Salam, creating a serene and devotional atmosphere.
The highlight of the event was an enlightening address by Ms Safia Jaffar, Lecturer, Department of Islamic Studies, who emphasized the significance of Shab-e-Baraat in Islamic history. She spoke about seeking forgiveness, engaging in prayers, and reflecting on one’s deeds on this blessed night. Students actively participated by reciting Naat and Drood Pak (SAW), further enhancing the spiritual ambiance of the evening. The event culminated with collective supplication for peace, prosperity and divine blessings.
