Mehfil-e-Mushaira “Manaqib-e- Ehl-e-Bait Athaar (AS)” held in Saleem Campus

Religious Society TUF under the banner of Department of Arabic and Islamic Studies organized a Mehfil-e-Mushaira “Manaqib-e-Ehl-e-Bait Athaar (A.S)” for females on 25th July.

Prof Dr Shahida Yousaf presided the Mehfil. Famous poetesses including Prof Dr Naseem Sahraee, Mrs Sameena Raees, Dr Sadaf Naqvi, Dr Ayesha Zafar, Dr Tahira Inaam, Dr Shamim Zafar Rana and Ms Safia Hayat participated and presented Manaqib. They paid rich poetic tributes to Sydena Imam Hussain (AS) and His companions on their sacrifices for the integrity of Islam. The event concluded with Drood o Salam and Dua by Mrs Ayesha Batool.
