Mehfil-e-Mushaira “Manaqib-e- Ehl-e-Bait Athaar (AS)”

Following its traditions, Department of Arabic and Islamic Studies and Islamic Philosophical Society, TUF organized a Mehfil-e-Mushaira on “Manaqib-e-Ehl-e-Bait Athaar (Alaehimus-Salam)” in Amin campus on 24th July, 2023.

The Mehfil presided by Prof Dr Matloob Ahmed, Head Department of Islamic Studies. The spiritual event aimed to pay homage to martyr of Syedna Imam Hussain (Alaeh-i-Salam) and his companions.

Renowned poets and poetesses of the city; Prof Riaz Ahmad Qadri, Prof Muhammad Masood Akhtar, Prof Masood-ul-Rehman Masood, Muhammad Latif Sajid Chishti, Kousar Ali, Muhammad Afzal Khaksar, Mian Munir Ahmed Munir, Tahir Siddiq, Sarwar Qamar Qadri, Masood Ejaz, Ms Rakia Imtiaz, Ms Laiqa Shahbaz, Ali Hassan and Ms Eisha Ijaz participated in Mushaira. They presented Manaqib and paid rich tributes to Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) and Ehl-e-Baet (AS) on their sacrifices rendered to restore the integrity of Islam. The event culminated with Drood-o-Salam and Dua.
