Good Health and Well-being
A spiritually enriching Mehfil-e-Milad and Shab-e-Mi‘raj was held in a dignified academic environment under the esteemed supervision of Prof Dr Matloob Ahmad, Dean, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences. The event reflected a harmonious blend of religious devotion, intellectual discourse, and interdepartmental collaboration.
The ceremony was honored by the presence of distinguished guests. Prof Dr Nailah Riaz, Head, Department of English Language and Literature, and Prof Dr Riaz Majeed, Head, Department of Urdu, graced the occasion as Guests of Honour. Both scholars delivered insightful and heartfelt addresses, eloquently elaborating on the significance of Naat and Durood, and emphasizing their spiritual, ethical, and social impact in shaping individual character and promoting collective harmony.


Adding further depth to the program, Mr Ghulam Fareed, Lecturer, Department of English, presented a soulful Naatia Kalam, which deeply moved the audience and enhanced the spiritual atmosphere of the gathering.
The highlight of the Mehfil was the comprehensive and inspiring address by the Chief Guest, Prof Dr Matloob Ahmad, who delivered an outstanding lecture on the sacred journey of Shab-e-Mi‘raj. He eloquently explained the spiritual dimensions of the Mi‘raj, the significance of Salah (prayer), and emphasized that the Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was sent as a mercy for all mankind.
