Good Health and Well-being
The combined departments of the Faculty of Medicine and Allied Health Sciences, in collaboration with the Department of Islamic Studies, organized the event “Istiqlal-e-Ramazan: Engagements and Commitments.” The session began with a warm welcome of the chief guest, Prof Dr Matloob Ahmad, followed by an engaging panel discussion. Panelists included Mr Tayyab from the MLS, Ms Noreen from the Psychology Department, and Mr Waqas Younis from Rehabilitation Sciences. Additionally, Dr Sobia from the National Business School (NBS) shared insights on social aspects, highlighting strategies for students to manage their behavior, schedules, and routines effectively during Ramadan.
Each panelist shared valuable guidance, covering aspects such as mental resilience, physical well-being, and maintaining healthy routines during Ramadan. Prof Dr Matloob Ahmad concluded the session with a reflective note on how the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) welcomed Ramadan, adding a deeply spiritual dimension to the discussion. The event successfully combined practical advice with spiritual reflection, providing students with meaningful guidance to observe Ramadan mindfully.
