The Department of Islamic Studies in collaboration with the Islamic Philosophic Society proudly organized a mesmerizing and soulful International Virtual Na'at Competition, bringing together students from around the world. This highly anticipated event aimed to celebrate the beauty of Naat recitation and the deep connection it fosters among Muslims.
The competition was graced by distinguished guests, including Mr Zaid Malik, Professor, King Saud University in Saudi Arabia, and Professor Dr Amanullah Malik, Pro-Rector, TUF, who honoured the participants with their presence. The esteemed judging panel featured renowned personalities, including Mr Riaz Majeed Qadri, the Chief Judge, Mr Sajid Ali Sajid, a gold medalist in the All Pakistan Naat Competition, and Ms Ayesha Batool. Ms Ayesha Batool captivated the audience with a soulful Arabic Na'at, while Mr Sajid Ali Sajid moved the listeners with a heartfelt kalaam that touched the hearts of all present. In his closing remarks, Professor Dr Matloob Ahmad, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, expressed his gratitude to the University for organizing such a meaningful event.
