International Qiraat Virtual Competition

Department of Islamic Studies and Islamic Philosophic Society are honored to organize the remarkable event “International Qiraat Virtual Competition”. Qaris from around the globe, including India, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, Egypt, and various regions of Pakistan participated. Esteemed personalities including Al Sheikh Al Qari Mustafa Ahmad Elgendi (Egypt) was Chief Judge. Al Sheikh Al Qari Hassan Raza (Egypt), and Dr Al Hafiz Al Qari Muhammad Asif Raza (Pakistan) graced as Judges. Qari Hassan Raza's melodious recitation of Holy Quraan captivated the audience, the event was further enriched by Al Qari Al Sheikh Mustafa, whose beautiful recitation touched the hearts of audience. Dr Muhammad Zaid Ahmad, Assistant Professor from King Saud University, Saudia, shared his insightful knowledge to the attendees.

Mr Muhammad Shoaib, National University of Modern Languages, Multan got first position while Mr Khzaima Shakir, Government College University, Lahore stood second and Mr Sardar Inaam Ullah Khan, Minhaj University, Lahore remained third.

Cash prizes were awarded to the position holders. The event concluded with a heartfelt distribution of souvenirs to our esteemed guests, celebrating the spirit of unity and excellence in Qiraat.
