International Nurses Day, Honoring the Economic and Healthcare Impact of Nurses

School of Nursing, TUF, commemorated International Nurses Day with a special seminar themed “Our Nurses, Our Future: Caring for Nurses Strengthens Economies.” This annual observance honored the vital contributions of nurses to healthcare systems worldwide.

The event featured an insightful address by Mrs Naseem Kausar, Head Nurse, DHQ Hospital Faisalabad. She underscored the indispensable role of nurses, stating, “Nurses are the heartbeat of healthcare, and their compassion, expertise, and unwavering commitment are the foundation of a resilient and effective healthcare system.”

The event aimed to raise awareness about the economic impact of nursing care and the essential role nurses play in shaping the future of healthcare systems globally.
